After a great three years at his beloved preschool, B started "el-ee-MENT-ary" school (pronounciation his) last week at George Watts Montessori, a public magnent school in Durham. He is in a preK/kindergarten class. He seems to be very enthusiastic so far and especially enjoys carrying his own lunch box and backpack, as you can see. He put up with Mom and Dad tagging along on his first day, but pretty much pretended not to know us!

Congrats on the first day of big school Ben. Enjoyed seeing all the pictures from the beach too. Glad to see everyone's doing well. Hopefully I can catch up with you guys in more detail soon. -- Katie
